back in Oct 2024 lots of coverage incorrectly reported Tesla had received the "Robotaxi" trademark. It was just a couple of applications. And one was just denied for being too "generic" ... another fun one by @techcrunch.com scoopster

Tesla submitted the applications on 10/10/24, the same day as the big "Cybercab" event, along w/ applications for "Robobus." A lot of folks wrongly reported Tesla was granted those trademarks. Always glad to have been schooled by @rec
